Likeable Blog

http://kathymallat.blogspot.com/?expref=next-blog

I personaly lovee this blog. Its by a woman who illistrates childrens books but has recently rediscovered her true love for art. Her work is very visualy interesting, somewhat realistic with a touch of surrealism. Her artwork realy hooked me and i enjoyed looking at them and reading what she felt when she did them.

Interesting Ad #3

The picture draws you in and realy pops against the dark surroundings. You can't tell exactly what its about at first but you can easily read and be able to tell. The contrast is good, and i like the way they angled the words around the picture.

Interesting Ad #2

The words are interestingly arranged drawing your eyes throughout the whole piece. The picture is simple and so it does not take away from the apparant meaning and title. The colors go well together and it is a good use of space.

Interesting Advertising

I like this advertisement alot because when you look at it you know generaly what is about. It's eye catching and has great contrast so it would stand out well. The name of the advertisers is also clearly seen.

T-NT Logo Design

My logo used the gestault therory of similatity by the repeating triangles. I used shapes in the letters( like the feather for a t and an ax for another) to represent each school. The faces represnt the school mascots and the face off between them.

This image is a great example of gestalt. The similarity in the design is due to the repeating shapes around the words. Also, the diamond shape repeats through the design making it come together very well. I was drawn to this image because of the design and the fact that i love swimming. Im a swimmer so these things are appealing to me because of this interest. Visualy this image is bright, livly and energetic. It also draws your eyes to it right away.
